I began A Course in Miracles five months ago, and to say it has rocked my world, both positively and negatively, is almost an understatement. Along with studying the Course itself, I've consulted the work of other writers farther along this path, and Elizabeth Cronkhite's writing is what I turn to time and again for encouragement, insight and understanding. "The ACIM Mentor Articles" is my particular favorite because each essay is relatively short, and I can find something quickly on a particular topic. But the writing is so engaging that I first read the book straight through just for the pleasure of her phrasing and description. Cronkhite clears up so many questions I had about how to approach the Course while answering the questions of other students who had similar concerns and misunderstandings. This book also brought to light ways in which I was needlessly depressing myself by trying to be more advanced in the Course than I really am. (Apparently many newbies to ACIM make this mistake.) I didn't even realize what I was doing to bring myself down until I read Cronkhite's article on the topic.That realization alone was the worth the price of the book for me!Product details

I'm still reading (devouring!) this book, but I really want to express my appreciation for this wonderful addition to my library! I've been a Course student for years and have found Elizabeth's writing to be clear, intelligent and very helpful. I can tell that she has truly "worked" the Course at a deep level and her strong connection to Holy Spirit comes through. I get no sense of "ego" in her writing; she clarifies without talking down to the reader. She is simply sharing what she has learned through her years of studying the Course and listening to her Inner Teacher. She is, as the Course says, "here only to be truly helpful".

This is in my every morning meditation. I Love The Course In Miracles. Elizabeth Cronkhite is a Mentor for The Course In Miracles.
I had a most powerful transformation from reading this along with her Message of the Course in Miracles. Because I have studied the Course, I knew her thoughts were correct and in very good alignment with what Jesus said to Helen. It is so wonderful to study with Liz. An excellent read.
The first read of ACIM is difficult. The second read is even more difficult because the reader recognizes the direction of the text and understands more of what's being said but, then hits the onion. Layers upon layers begin peeling away. Before my third read I decided to read Elizabeth's book. It truly was perfect. The format of three-four pages per topic made the read manageable. Typically, before I go to bed, I reread the section just finished to make certain I have the main points and then I read the next section. Like the ACIM workbook, Elizabeth's book is vintage wine, meant to be sipped rather than consumed at one sitting. I recommend it highly.
I bought ACIM Mentor Articles after reading other of Liz Cronkhite's books, and I find these articles to be a fantastic companion to A Course in Miracles. The author has wonderful clarity and insight and gives a sometimes different and sometimes just much clearer view of what ACIM says and she/it has helped me a lot in my own reflections and studies. I am careful about ACIM teachers because I am a bit of a purist, but I find all of Cronkhites's writing extraordinarily useful.
I've read this book at least a half dozen times and always find something "new" in it. It is my Go-to book when I'm looking for inspiration or feel myself getting lost on my spiritual path. I find it a very practical book with daily reminders for me of what I need to keep in mind as a student of ACIM. It is also a great companion book for the text of ACIM. Great for new students and long-time students as well.
I can't put this book down. I ordered another copy for a friend. A lot of interpretations of the CIM as the author worked through the course. I was able after over 20 years of working with the course to understand more of it. When it is spelled out for you the ego
doesn't get in the way and you have some real eye-opening experiences as you progress through the book. ( I hope a fly doesn't
fly into my open mouth as I read this book.) Thank you to the author for sharing many difficult experiences as she interpreted the
Course In Miracles. It's interesting how many levels of learning are expressed in her mentor book. A miracle is God's Love. Real growth is through God's Love.
